TCM1000144 - How to check if payment has been paid by URP Bacs

Changes to previous version - new guidance.

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Householdâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘View Accountâ€� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Dataâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘Allâ€� checkbox
  • select the ‘Payment Scheduleâ€� checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Award� screen

  • select the relevant award
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘View Direct Payment Scheduleâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you’re taken straight to the ‘View Direct Payment Schedule� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘View Direct Payment Schedule� screen

  • select the relevant payment
  • check whether the ‘issued dateâ€� is after the payment ‘due dateâ€�.

If the ‘issued date� is after the payment ‘due date� it is a URP Bacs payment.

Note: There should also be a Household Note stating that the payment was made by URP Bacs.

If the ‘issued dateâ€� isn’t after the payment ‘due dateâ€� it isn’t a URP Bacs payment. Â
