Step 2

On the ‘Applicant Details screen

Note: If the ‘Signals screen displays, select ‘OK.

  • select ‘CCâ€ on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Childcare Detailsâ€ screen
  • select the appropriate childcare provider
  • select ‘Changeâ€. You will be taken to the ‘Change Childcare Providerâ€ screen
  • select the appropriate tax year from the ‘Costsâ€ field
  • check the end date in the ‘Costsâ€ field and compare this date to the start date of the new childcare costs.

If the end date in the ‘Costs field is a later date than the start date of the new childcare costs, amend the end date in the ‘Costs field to the day prior to the start date of the new costs. This will prevent an overlap of childcare costs.

If the end date in the ‘Costs field is an earlier date than the start date of the new childcare costs, take no further action. There will be no overlap of childcare costs.
