TCM1000130 - How to trace a customer’s address on TBS

Step 1

From ‘My Workplace�

  • select ‘Corporate Servicesâ€�
  • select ‘Interim Single Sign On (ISSO)â€�
  • select ‘TBS View Serviceâ€� from the options available
  • enter the customer’s NINO in ‘View Tax Payer Summary Detailsâ€�
  • select ‘Retrieveâ€� on the toolbar
  • check the details on this screen with the customer details you have
  • go to Step 2.

Step 2

If the details shown match the customer details you have

  • select ‘Viewâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Address Historyâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘View Taxpayer Address Historyâ€� screen
  • check all the previous addresses in the ‘Address Historyâ€� field to see if the details match the address you have or a new address is shown.
  • note any details you need.

Note: You must check all the details carefully until you are happy you have the correct tax credits customer.

If the details shown do not match the customer details you have, make a note and return to the guidance you were previously following.
