TCM1000053 - How to check the customer’s date of birth and number of hours worked

Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Viewâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customers NINO
  • select the ‘Allâ€� checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Individual� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application� screen or the ‘Select Application Version� screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the claim with the status of ‘Award Issuedâ€�
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application Versionâ€� screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select version 1 of the claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Application Summary� screen

  • note the date of birth of the customer shown in the ‘Applicant 1â€� and, where applicable ‘Applicant 2â€� boxes
  • select ‘Navigationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Workâ€� from the options available
  • select ‘Applicant 1â€� or ‘Applicant 2â€� as appropriate. You will be taken to the appropriate ‘Applicant Workâ€� screen for the selected customer

Note: In a two-person claim, if both customers work, both checkboxes will be available and both of their work details must be checked.

  • note the total number of hours worked shown in the ‘Total Hours Workedâ€� field.
