TCM1000025 - How to check the status of a claim

Step 1

If you are working a verification failure in function ‘Manage Verification Failures�, go to Step 2.

If you aren’t working a verification failure or aren’t in function ‘Manage Verification Failures�, go to Step 3.

Step 2

On the ‘Manage Verification Failures� screen

  • select the appropriate verification failure
  • select ‘Navigateâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘View Applicationâ€� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • go to Step 4.

Step 3

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Viewâ€� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Individual� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application� screen or the ‘Select Application Version� screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen instead, follow the guidance below for that screen.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • go to Step 4.

If you’re taken straight to the ‘Application Summary� screen, go to Step 4.

Step 4

On the ‘Application Summary� screen, the status of the claim will be shown in the ‘Status� box.
