Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Renewalâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Manage Finalisationâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘Periodâ€� checkbox and enter the relevant year as 06/04/YYYY - 05/04/YYYY

If you are taken to the ‘Select Household� screen

  • select the relevant household
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Manage Finalisationâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Manage Finalisation� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Manage Finalisation� screen

  • select ‘Continueâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Finalisation detailsâ€� screen
  • select ‘Continueâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Notice detailsâ€� screen
  • in the ‘S17 Noticeâ€� field, if the Annual Declaration has been ‘marked as not servedâ€� there will be ticks in the ‘not servedâ€� checkboxes

  • Note: in a joint claim both checkboxes will have been selected
