Acceptable forms of identification are a valid government-issued photo ID that confirms their identity for example a passport or driving licence. If the photographic ID document does not confirm the individual’s home address, they must also provide a second form of ID and proof of address dated within the last 3 months. For example, council tax demand letter or statement; current utility bills (gas or electric) or bank statement.
Failure to provide an appropriate document may result in the business� application for registration being refused or the business being subject to financial penalties.
