Contact Companies House if you believe a filing:
- has been made relating to your company without its authority

Disputes
If there鈥檚 a disagreement between people in a company, you should try to resolve it between yourselves before contacting Companies House. For example, 2 people who insist they鈥檙e the only director.
Companies House will only consider disputes with evidence. For example, an agreement, contract, board meeting minutes, or other documentation that could help us reach a decision.
You鈥檒l need to email details of the dispute to [email protected].
In some dispute cases, Companies House may not be able to reach a decision.
In these circumstances, you might wish to consider applying to the court for a 鈥榙eclaration of fact鈥. For example, an order confirming that person A is the director and person B is not.聽聽
Companies House will act on that declaration to remove false or unauthorised information.
Complex facts
We might suggest that the matter is best determined by the court if:
- you wish to remove documents recording a complex transaction
- it鈥檚 not clear if a transaction was legal
- the removal may affect third party rights, for example, investors
