05 Waste codes
05 waste codes are from petroleum refining, natural gas purification and pyrolytic treatment of coal. Your permit lists the 05 waste codes you can use. You must follow the guidance given in the Before you start section.
05 01 waste codes are from petroleum refining.
05 01 10 Activated sludges from on-site oil refinery biological effluent treatment plants other than those mentioned in 05 01 09
You can use this waste if you hold of SR2010 No 4 鈥� see table 2.2B.
You must not use 05 01 09* Sludges from on-site effluent treatment containing hazardous substances.
For this waste you must follow the information for Sludges from on-site effluent treatment plants of food and drink waste under 02 03 05.
