Background
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) was until 30 September 2018 responsible for the regulation of registered providers of social housing through its Regulation Committee. It is a prescribed person under the , as amended, for the purpose of receiving 鈥渨orkers鈥� disclosures鈥� (sometimes referred to as whistleblowing) in connection with the conduct of the business of registered providers of social housing.
All prescribed persons must, under the , make an annual report on the workers鈥� disclosures it has received.
