Find details of a building inspector listed on the register of building inspectors for Wales.
Applies to Wales
All building inspectors who do building control work in Wales must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).
The register shows:
- building inspector name
- registration number
- employer鈥檚 or business name and address
- registration class
- categories of buildings the inspector is registered to work on
- start and end date of registration
- details of any conditions of registration
There is a different聽register of building inspectors for England.

Competency assessment extension period
The competency assessment extension period for Wales ended on 1 October 2024. This means that experienced鈥�RBIs鈥痳egistered as class 1 can no longer carry out regulated activities without supervision.
