Disability Inclusion Helpdesk

Disability inclusive development evidence digests and research reports produced by FCDO's Disability Inclusion Helpdesk.

The aims to test innovative approaches to disability inclusion. It will produce evidence about what works in providing tangible outcomes for people with disabilities including access to education, jobs and healthcare, and to reduce stigma and discrimination.

The programme includes a Disability Inclusion Helpdesk facility providing disability inclusion research and advice to staff in FCDO and across government. The Helpdesk draws on disability inclusion experts from a range of research institutions, independent consultants, non-governmental organisations and civil society organisations. This page will provide access to the research reports and regular evidence digests containing the latest evidence on disability inclusion produced by the Helpdesk.

The programme is led by Sightsavers in partnership with ADD International, BBC Media Action, BRAC, Institute of Development Studies, International Disability Alliance, Humanity & Inclusion, Leonard Cheshire, Light for the World, Sense, and Social Development Direct. The Helpdesk facility is led by Social Development Direct.
