Quarterly statistics on the number of people on Universal Credit (UC) with a health condition or disability restricting their ability to work, by stage of process and monthly Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decisions and outcomes.

This release of statistics covers:

  • caseload â€� number of people onÌýUCÌýhealth by:
    • stage of process â€� pre-Work Capability Assessment (WCA) or post-WCAÌýwith limited capability for work (LCW) or limited capability for work and work-related activity (LCWRA)
    • monthly (from April 2019 to March Ìý2024)
    • age at caseload date
    • gender
    • GB level and standard geographical area
  • number ofÌýDWPÌýUCÌýWCAÌýdecisions by:
    • outcome (no limited capability for work (NLCW),ÌýLCW,ÌýLCWRA, monthly (from April 2019 to February Ìý2024)
    • GB level and standard geographical area
    • medical conditions (ICD10)
