Quarterly statistics on the number of people on Universal Credit (UC) with a health condition or disability restricting their ability to work, by stage of process and monthly Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decisions and outcomes.听

This release of statistics covers:听

  • caseload 鈥� number of people on鈥�UC鈥痟ealth by:听

    • stage of process: pre-Work Capability Assessment (WCA) or post-WCA鈥痺ith limited capability for work (LCW) or limited capability for work and work-related activity (LCWRA)听

    • monthly (from April 2019 to June鈥�2024)听

    • age at caseload date听

    • 驳别苍诲别谤听

    • GB level and standard geographical area听

  • number of鈥�DWP鈥�UC鈥�WCA鈥痙ecisions by:听

    • outcome (no limited capability for work (NLCW),鈥�LCW,鈥�LCWRA, monthly (from April 2019 to May 鈥�2024)听

    • GB level and standard geographical area听

    • 补驳别听

    • 驳别苍诲别谤听

    • Initial and Repeat decisions听

    • medical conditions (ICD10)听
