The geographic coverage of quarterly emissions statistics will be changing from UK and Crown Dependencies to UK only from 2016 onwards.

This publication provides the latest provisional estimates of UK greenhouse gas emissions based on provisional inland energy consumption statistics, which are published in DECC鈥檚 quarterly Energy Trends publication.

Quarterly emissions estimates have a 3 month time lag, and are based on provisional inland energy consumption statistics, which are published in DECC鈥檚 quarterly Energy Trends publication.

These statistics are produced on the same basis as Provisional annual statistics and provide an early indication of emissions in the most recent quarter.
