Errors
An error was found in regard to the 2020/21 Childcare Grant figures on the following tables:
Table 4C (ii): Childcare Grant payments on behalf of full-time applicants - academic years 2019/20 to 2020/21
- Number of students paid was amended from 21,100 to 30,200 (+ 9,100)
- Amount paid was amended from to 拢100.1 million to 拢162.2 million (+ 拢62.1 million)
These figures feed through to the summary table, entitled:
Table 2: Student support summary by academic year - 2013/14 to 2020/21
- The number of students paid Childcare Grant increased by 9,100 from 21,100 to 30,200. There is no effect on subtotals / totals, as these are distinct counts of applicants / students to avoid double-counting where they have more than one product type.
- Regarding the totals and averages paid out, the following rows were affected:
