On 3 April 2025, the Statistics on International Development (SID): Final ODA Spend 2023 publication was updated to take account of a set of revisions for 2023 Official Development Assistance (ODA).
These revisions are minor, and the trends reported in the SID: Final ODA Spend 2023 publication are unaffected. They were prompted by a quality assurance exercise carried out by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) which took place after publication.聽 We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The overall effect of these revisions on total UK ODA is a reduction of 拢97,324.70 (0.001 per cent). The revised figure for total UK聽ODA聽in 2022 is 拢 15,344,070,178; the聽ODA:GNI ratio continues to be 0.58 per cent. 聽
All affected accompanying tables and聽underlying data聽have been updated (revisions in the tables have been marked with [R]).

There have been minor revisions to some other variables which do not affect the value of total聽ODA聽but which may have led to small changes between categories for some figures within the tables.聽These have been updated in the 2023 underlying data and affected table cells have been marked with [R].聽The variables affected are:
- 鈥榯ype of aid鈥� codes
- bilateral/multilateral markers
- channel codes
- sector codes
Table 4 of the SID 2023 Tables has been corrected as the previous version was incorrectly showing 2018 figures for 2019 and 2021 figures for 2022.
