This release includes information as reported by local authorities as of 1 May 2022 on:

  • primary and secondary state-funded school places
  • sixth form capacity
  • unfilled school places and pupils in places that exceed their school鈥檚 capacity

It also provides:

  • local authorities鈥� pupil forecasts up to 2026 to 2027 at primary level and 2028 to 2029 at secondary level
  • local authorities鈥� planned changes to school places up to 2024 to 2025
  • the modelled estimates of the future number of school places needed to meet predicted demand
