This Statistical Release presents information about the reliability of journeys on motorways and 鈥楢鈥� roads managed by the Highways Agency during July 2012.

Key points

  • In the year ending July 2012, provisional data shows that 83.0 per cent of journeys on the Highways Agency managed network were 鈥榦n time鈥�. This is 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous year, ending June 2012.
  • The annual reliability measure consistently increased up to March 2012, but has fallen in the last four months.
  • Provisional data show that 81.8 per cent of journeys on the Highways Agency network during July 2012 were 鈥榦n time鈥�, down 2.5 percentage points from July 2011.
