Details

The July 2017 national statistics public expenditure outturn release presents analyses of public spending against budgeting and expenditure on services frameworks. These analyses cover public spending by department, function and economic category.

The following corrections were made on 20 July 2017 to the Public Spending Statistics release. These changes have been made to the underlying excel tables for this release. The tables have also been corrected within the pdf of this release. The changes are as follows:

  • In Tables 4.2 to 4.4 (public sector expenditure on services by function); the totals for 鈥楨conomic affairs鈥�, 鈥楶ublic sector expenditure on services鈥� and for the 鈥楢ccounting adjustments鈥� have all been corrected for years prior to 2012-13.
  • For Table 4.4 the title has been slightly amended, from: 鈥�1992-93 to 2016-17鈥� to: 鈥�1993-94 to 2016-17鈥�.
