Personal tax credits: provisional statistics
The provisional statistics are a snapshot of the caseload based on the family circumstances of people receiving Working Tax Credits and/or Child Tax Credits.

The finalised award statistics relate to the complete retrospective picture for the tax year, based on a finalised view of family incomes and circumstances and therefore differ from the provisional statistics. These statistics are from 2009 to 2020.
