Update: 9 September 2019: the issue with the 鈥淣DR Business Floorspace tables MSOA/LSOA 2019鈥� tables has now been fixed. For more detailed information on this, please see the Readme file within the zip folder.

Update: 13 August 2019: an issue with geography matching has been identified with the 鈥淣DR Business Floorspace tables MSOA/LSOA 2019鈥� tables. These tables have been removed from this page on 13 August 2019 whilst the issue is investigated.

This release includes a time series of statistics on stock, rateable value and floorspace of a range of classes of properties at various geographic levels (including region, county, local authority district, middle super output area and lower super output area) liable for business rates. This release combines statistics previously published in the non-domestic rating: stock of properties release and the non-domestic rating: business floorspace release.

  1. A small number of county totals were showing as zero in the Stock MSOA/LSOA tables. These have now been fixed.

  3. An issue with geography matching has been identified with the 鈥淣DR Business Floorspace tables MSOA/LSOA 2019鈥� tables. These tables have been removed from this page on 13 August 2019 whilst the issue is investigated.
