Potential victims of modern slavery in the UK that come to the attention of authorised 鈥榝irst responder鈥� organisations are referred to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM). Authorised 鈥榝irst responder鈥� organisations include local authorities, specified non-governmental organisations (NGOs), police forces and specified government agencies.

  1. Eleven referrals in quarter 4 were mistakenly categorised as 鈥楥riminal and Organ Harvesting鈥� in terms of exploitation type. These have now been corrected to 鈥楧omestic and Criminal鈥�. This has affected Tables 3 - 6, 11 鈥� 16, 21 and 22.
