Highlights

  • Total landings by UK vessels increased in August 2022 compared to 2021, up 15 per cent. The value of landings in August 2022 (拢83.5 million) decreased compared to 2021 down by 3 per cent.
  • Pelagic species comprised the majority of landings in August 2022. This was driven by increased landings of Herring which is typically targeted in the late summer months (July 鈥� September).
