This analysis responds to public interest in long-term sickness absence. It also precedes the launch of the Health and Work Service as announced in Fitness for work: the Government response to 鈥楬ealth at work 鈥� an independent review of sickness absence the aim of which is to support a reduction in long-term sickness absence.
