A summary of data from the consistent financial reporting and S251 outturn surveys covering:

• local authority spending on education services and children鈥檚 and young people鈥檚 services
• the income and expenditure of local authority-maintained schools in England
• the latest position on school revenue balances

We will also publish the income and expenditure of local-authority-maintained schools data on the聽school financial benchmarking service聽at the end of the year. You can download datasets for all local-authority-maintained schools (and equivalent data for academies) from the data source section.
