Details

The Family Resources Survey collects information on the incomes and circumstances of private households in the United Kingdom. It has been running since October 1992. This report summarises the results for the financial year 2014 to 2015 survey in which approximately 20,000 households were interviewed.

The report is divided into sections covering:

  • income and state support
  • tenure
  • disability
  • carers
  • pensions
  • an additional section on self-employment analysis

We have also published a background note detailing methodology, and accompanying data tables in Excel and ODS format.
