This publication provides data on the number of children and young people with an聽EHC聽plan in England.

It also provides data on the administration of statements of聽SEN聽and聽EHC聽plans, including:

• the number of聽EHC聽plans in place in January 2024
• the number of聽EHC聽plans made for the first time during the 2023 calendar year
• the number and percentage of聽EHC聽plans that were issued within 20 weeks

It is based on the statutory SEN2 data collection.
