This is the first release of data from the 2012 Commercial Victimisation Surve (CVS), which examines the extent of crime against businesses in England and Wales. The CVS was previously run in 1994 and 2002, and is planned to be repeated in 2013 and 2014.

This release is produced to the highest professional standards by statisticians in accordance with the Home Office鈥檚 Statement of Compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics.
