The data covers:

  • registered childcare providers and places as at 31 August 2015
  • movement in childcare sector between 31 March 2015 and 31 August 2015
  • most recent inspection outcomes as at 31 August 2015
  • provisional data for inspections completed between 1 April 2015 and 31 August 2015
  • revised data for inspections completed between 1 January 2015 and 31 March 2015

This release has been introduced following consultation with users and combines the 鈥楨arly years providers and places鈥� and the 鈥楨arly Years inspections and outcomes鈥� statistical releases.

Official statistics are produced impartially and free from political influence.
