Details

The key findings for this release are that:

  • the number of appeals fell by 17% in 2013 compared to 2012 (407 compared to 493)
  • 92% of appeals were resolved at stage 1, with only 32 progressing to stage 2 in 2013
  • 3% or 142 of the 5,140 qualification grades involved in appeals resulted in a grade change
