New Enterprise Allowance: April 2011 to June 2020

This publication includes New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) statistics from April 2011 to June 2020 for phase 1 of the scheme, and any starts since phase 2 began (in April 2017) up to June 2020.

Reason for change:
During the quality assurance of these statistics, DWP statisticians identified a number of anomalies in the draft publication. These suggest that there is likely to be an error in the underlying code used for this release. As a result, it is necessary to delay publication. Work to correct the problem has commenced. Due to the uncertainty around what is causing this error, we are unable at this stage to commit to a new publication date. When we have a new publication date for the New Enterprise Allowance statistics this will be pre-announced in line with the Code of Practice for Statistics. Further updates will be posted on this website and in the 鈥淲elfare and Benefits鈥� community at http://www.statsusernet.org.uk.
