Reform of bus subsidy system
Consultation on bus subsidy launched.
In March, the government published 鈥楪reen light for better buses鈥�, in which we set out our plans for improving local bus subsidy arrangements and regulations in England outside London. We undertook to consult on these proposals and I can inform the House that the consultation has been launched today and will last for 8 weeks. Copies of the consultation document are available in the House library.
