Details

  • This Technical Standard can, from 1 June 2014, be used for new workboats and pilot boats as an equivalent construction standard to the requirements of 鈥淭he Safety of Small Workboats and Pilot Boats 鈥� A Code of Practice鈥�, published by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in 1998.

  • Such vessels will continue to be issued with Certification under those regulations.

  • This Technical Standard is subject to final public consultation and scrutiny by the Department for Transport.
