The women鈥檚 policy framework sets out our shared HMPPS principles for working with women in the criminal justice system to enable better outcomes, ensuring that staff are supported, and the work is evidence based. The policy mandates staff and senior leaders to act in accordance with gender specific, trauma informed practice principles.
