W.Clifford Watts Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract water from superficial deposits at Gransmoor, Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire within an area formed by straight lines between the National Grid References TA 10996 60156; TA 11208 59882; TA 11302 59934 and TA 11295 60065 to transfer it to Gransmoor Drain at National Grid Reference TA 10964 60052 without intervening use.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

The abstraction is for the purpose of dewatering.
