This report sets out the findings of the Commissioner鈥檚 3-month review and makes recommendations for the improvement of children鈥檚 social care services in Wakefield.
It follows a that judged the overall effectiveness of the council鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services to be inadequate.
The Department for Education issued a statutory direction to Wakefield Council on the 13th December 2018.
