The US and UK are collaborating to accelerate a clean energy transition while maintaining security of energy supplies.

Both countries are well positioned to support a global clean energy transition with a focus on domestic affordability through the UK鈥檚 Net Zero Strategy and US Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

This year鈥檚 Dialogue aims to focus on 3 strands of a clean energy transition:

  • securing 聽stabilisation of current energy prices
  • pushing forward bilateral net zero objectives through clean energy technology collaboration
  • using multilateral fora to promote a global shift away from unabated fossil energy
