The Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice published her response and a plan of action on 6 August 2024. It was not possible to publish a response sooner due to the pre-election period, however, an interim update was provided to His Majesty鈥檚 Chief Inspector of Prisons on 6 June, within 28 days of the notification.
