This information is to help carriers check their passengers鈥� travel documents. It lists the countries and territories of citizens who need a visa for the UK.

  1. Updated the visa requirements for Trinidad and Tobago.

  15. Document has been updated to reflect the implementation of visa impositions on countries Dominica, Honduras, Namibia, Timor-Leste, and Vanuatu that come into force on 19th July 2023.

  16. Airport telephone numbers updated.

  17. Removed Colombia, Guyana and Peru from the list of nationals who need a visa to enter or transit the UK landside.

  18. Updated Edinburgh Airport contact number.

  19. Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates added to list of countries that do not require a visa for official visits, tourist visits or transit for holders of diplomatic and special passports.

  20. Updated contact details for Birmingham Airport, Bristol Airport, Heathrow Airport Terminal 4, Portsmouth Docks and Stansted Airport. Also added telephone numbers for Teesside Airport and Humberside.

  21. Footnote 3 updated from 'Passport not recognised by HM Government - visa should be issued on a uniform format form (UFF)' to 'Passport not recognised by HM Government - visa should be issued on a Form for Affixing a Visa (FAV).' Footnote 9 removed from 'El Salvador' in the list of countries and from footnote list.

  22. Saudi Arabia added to list of countries that do not require a visa for official visits, tourist visits or transit. Bahrain and Saudi Arabia added to list of countries where holders of ordinary passports do not require a visa if they hold a valid electronic visa waiver (EVW) document.

  23. Added El Salvador to list of nationals of countries and territories who need a visa to enter or transit the UK. Includes details of a transition period.
