Details
Ukraine remains a significant priority with strategic importance for the long-term security, stability and prosperity of the European continent and for UK interests. Our support to Ukraine increased following the crisis in 2014, which saw Ukrainians demand reform and an end to corruption during the 鈥淩evolution of Dignity鈥�. This was followed by Russia鈥檚 illegal annexation of Crimea and instigation of the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
The UK鈥檚 programme in Ukraine aims to support the Government of Ukraine鈥檚 priorities in: conflict stabilisation, economic development and reform, and security and defence.
Additional projects may be added during the financial year.
