From April 2011 to March 2024, it is estimated that International Climate Finance (ICF) programmes have:聽
- directly supported over 110 million people to cope with the effects of climate change聽
- provided 82 million people with improved access to clean energy聽
- supported 32 million people with improving their resilience to climate change聽
- reduced or avoided 105 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions聽
- installed 4,500 megawatts of clean energy capacity聽
- avoided 750,000 hectares of ecosystem loss聽
- generated or protected ecosystem services with a value of 拢5.6 million聽
- mobilised 拢8.4 billion public and 拢7.8 billion private finance for climate change purposes in developing countries聽
- supported the sustainable management of 4.2 million hectares of land聽
- supported 137 countries, 1.8 million people and 3,700 organisations with technical assistance

UK International Climate Finance is a portfolio of investments with a goal to support international poverty eradication now and in the future. It aims to help developing countries manage risk and build resilience to the impacts of climate change, take up low-carbon development at scale and manage natural resources sustainably.聽
Each year the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office sets out results from these investments against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).聽
Many of these programmes have long-lived benefits and will continue to deliver further results over the years to come.
