UK initiates global collaboration to support food security

As a result of SIN USA work in the area of global food security and phosphorous, there have been five high impact joint papers and 拢1.2 million in joint research proposals.

Details

An additional 拢1.5 million proposed project is currently under review which will look at the role of phosphorous in the UK鈥檚 food system as a whole. Agriculture depends on phosphorus, a significant, and limited non-renewable element used to produce fertilisers.
