Agreed by Technology Secretary Michelle Donelan and Canadian Science Minister, Fran莽ois-Philippe Champagne, the partnership will see both countries working to deepen links between the countries and inspire collaborative work on AI safety research.

It sets out provision for enhanced collaboration in areas including:

  • a new secondments initiative
  • shared priority access to the UK鈥檚 new compute resource
  • a joint programme of research in the field of 鈥淪ystemic AI 厂补蹿别迟测鈥�
