You can apply to transfer an operating centre from one vehicle operator's licence to another - sometimes known as a 'schedule 4 transfer'.

Details
You can only transfer a vehicle operating centre to another operator鈥檚 licence if either:
- you鈥檝e taken over an existing operator centre and don鈥檛 want to increase the vehicle and trailer authorisation
- you鈥檙e applying for a new licence and don鈥檛 want to increase the vehicle and trailer authorisation of the existing operator centre
You can鈥檛 apply to transfer an operating centre online.
It鈥檚 sometimes called a 鈥榮chedule 4 transfer鈥� because it鈥檚 made possible by schedule 4 of the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995.
