The Youth Employment Challenge uses the UK Commission for Employment and Skills鈥� (UKCES) labour market surveys to provide an analysis of the causes of youth unemployment. The report covers:

  • the changing structure of the labour market
  • the increasing use of recruitment channels that disadvantage young people
  • the growing value employers place on work experience
