Your charity can only hold the title to land or property in its own name if it鈥檚 a charitable incorporated organisation or charitable company. If it isn鈥檛, your charity can still own and manage land or property but you must either:

• nominate one or more trustees to hold the title to the land or property in their name (鈥榟olding trustees鈥�), or
• ask the Official Custodian for Charities to hold the land or property on your charity鈥檚 behalf (鈥榲esting鈥�)
