The report published here looks at the likely effects of the incoming rates, and sets out the LPC鈥檚 projection of the National Living Wage rate for April 2025. This projection is based on the Government鈥檚 remit to the LPC for 2024, which asks us to recommend a rate which keeps the NLW at two-thirds of median pay. We project an NLW remaining at two-thirds of median pay to be between 拢11.61 and 拢12.18 (with a central estimate of 拢11.89) in April 2025.
In support of its future recommendations, the LPC is carrying out and will be launching its call for written evidence in the coming days.
