Tailored reviews are periodic reviews that provide assurance and challenge about the continuing need, efficiency and good governance of public bodies. All tailored reviews are carried out in line with the Cabinet Office .

As a non-departmental public body, the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) is subject to a tailored review at least once in the lifetime of a Parliament. IIAC was subject to a previous . This review will consider the implementation of recommendations made in the previous one.
