Details

Report on a survey of callers to a helpline set up to deal with enquiries and problems related to the 5 government employment rights:

  • National Minimum Wage
  • Agricultural Minimum Wage
  • employment agency standards
  • gangmaster licensing standards
  • working time

The high satisfaction reported suggests that the helpline performs a valued role in resolving enquiries related to the 5 rights. This includes the role played for the wide range of enquiries that cover more than the 5 enforced rights, where the helpline passes them to an enforcement body or signposts callers to a more appropriate organisation.
